The Manager Field Tools is responsible for field tools strategy, direction, operational processes, and resources that enable the sales force to be more effective and efficient. Partners with senior sales and marketing management across all sales franchises to recommend initiatives, approaches and plans of action with the goal to improve overall sales force productivity using technology. Develops positive working relationships in a team-based environment to manage and improve field tools. Excellent communication and problem solving skills, strong project management capabilities, solid analytical ability, a self-starter approach with strong customer and operations focus, ability to prioritize multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and team orientation are fundamental to success in this role.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Business owner of 1CONNECT, Call Planning, IC, JRM and BRM
  • Manage field sales initiatives, technology projects and vendor relationships
  • Own establishment of data semantic layer for all field data and metrics
  • Identify innovative program solutions, reduction initiatives, and process efficiencies through to implementation
  • Chair multiple workstreams for field tools UX transformation
  • Propose and cultivate new strategic initiatives for field tools
  • Lead the deployment and continuously assess usability of new and existing field tools
  • Oversee business requirements, user testing, training and ongoing operational support of tools
  • Manage multiple priorities consistently to deliver high-quality results in a timely fashion
  • Develop and execute high-impact infield communications and training for new initiatives

This position will be filled at a grade 18 or 19, based on experience.



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in developing, deploying and managing effective IT systems and comfort in analytics
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, in a matrix environment, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (verticals, COE, brand teams)
  • Strong customer focus and operational experience
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of system software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint






  • 7+ years of work experience in sales, sales operations, information technology and technology
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Master's degree in business or science
