Job Description:

Position Summary

Guarantee the coordination of the activities of the R&D Digital Biometry team between US and France team members in close interaction with the Director Digital Biometry, and take initiatives to insure transparency through collaboration with global R&D organization.

Insure that the US R&D Digital Biometry team members are acknowledged for their expertise, and viewed by their peers as one with the France team members in in silico clinical trial projects and expert activities.

Assist the Digital Biometry Director taking accountability in the delivery of multiple projects by coordinating the global team with an innovative, results-oriented and open mind-set.

Be proactive in proposing solutions / ideas around coordination, transparency, team management & collaboration.

Essential Functions


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinate the US R&D Digital Biometry activity with French one the main US point of contact for the Director Digital Biometry around team project management and coordination efforts
  • Take global accountability in the delivery of in silico clinical trial projects to assist the Digital Biometry Director
  • Assist the director digital biometry supporting at best the US team members through coordination of activities & priorities, bringing any support to the team members to deliver onto their yearly objectives, managing coaching roles, hiring, training
  • Business validation coordination around models developed to support in silico clinical trials simulation
  • Liaise regularly with colleagues in Digital Biometry, iD big data team, project team members including therapeutic areas stakeholders involved in the development of models supporting in silico clinical trials to understand clinical project perimeter, questions & stakes
  • Coordination in challenging and validating with local business of in silico model to ensure the robustness of scientific facts & assumptions implemented into the modelLead
  • Lead local change management towards the ISCT vision
  • Use local environment to proactively identify opportunities for Digital Biometry and ongoing projects
  • Be the voice of R&D Digital Biometry US team members with global R&D
  • Bring expertise to project initiatives and management around subjects of Biostatistics, Biometry, Data Modeling, Bioinformatics.
  • Be innovative by keeping an open eye on the US / Boston startup world to identify new opportunities / partners IPSEN could collaborate with.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff


  • Ideal: Minimum of PhD in science with solid background in Oncology
  • Minimum: Masters and equivalent but with a robust scientific track record

  • Extensive experience in team leadership in multicultural environment
