Job Description:

Position Summary

The Manager of Neurology Product Training is responsible for the development of all product, disease state and competitive landscape training for all field personnel for the training of the Neurology Portfolio. This role is the primary facilitator for classes and pull through of learning programs.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinate and executes the delivery of field force training programs
  • Contribute to the design, development, and analysis of training across functions and supports training efforts that drive improvements in field force effectiveness
  • Work closely with the HR team and the Training and Development Lead to maintain and deliver training content via the following platforms:
    • IPSEN Global Learning Platform (Cornerstone LMS)
    • Brainshark rapid eLearning development and deployment
    • MyIPSEN iPad application (Scrimmage Playbook)
    • Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom
  • Monitor program budgets and upwardly manage project scope as needed
  • Supply feedback and insights from training sessions to the Training and Development Lead to inform the design of future training programs
  • Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree


Experience
  • 1 - 3 Years: Operations or Analytics, Sales Training Experience, Sales Representative Experience, First Line Sales Leadership

Core Competencies (Specific knowledge, skills and abilities that enable an individual to effectively perform the job)

  • Launch experience preferred
  • Commercial partnerships, such as co-promotes or alliances, a plus
  • Significant experience working with cross-functional groups made up of two or more of the following: Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Research, or Finance
  • Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Proven track record of strong execution and results
  • Ability to combine big-picture, long-term orientation with understanding of details, and sense of urgency to deliver quality results

  • Experience of leading a team, working with field sales forces and managing a budget

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, learns quickly, and succeeds in fast-paced and uncertain environments
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player while leading organizational change
  • Demonstrated leadership skills: ability to manage and lead others that are not direct reports; work and communicate effectively with stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • PC literacy required; expert MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Regularly required to operate standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.)
  • Ability to work on a computer up to 7 hours a day
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand and walk
  • Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment
  • Close vision required for computer usage
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb, and lift up to 25 pounds
