The Latin America Senior Financial Analyst will support the financial planning and analysis processes and requirements across Latin America Area through consolidation and analysis. This position provides financial support to management in the analysis of actual vs. benchmark results, provides business support in key projects as ASPIRE and should implement changes to meet the initiatives to improve financial processes. The Financial Analyst interacts with all levels of finance and business management. This position provides required deliverables primarily related to routine monthly and quarterly actuals, LBE's (Latest Best Estimates), support to affiliates and HQ relative to corporate systems (SAP, Planning systems, HQ reporting, etc).

Key Responsibilities Includes:

  • Consolidate and provides analytical support to monthly / bi-monthly LBE process to deliver comprehensive and balanced submission to Area and HQ management. This will leverage the knowledge of the monthly actuals and general business environment and conditions in the
  • Supports Accounting Shared Service (AFS and Corporate Accounting) monthly close process to ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis and commentary for P&L, headcount and balance sheet. Understands monthly results and prepares meaningful monthly management reporting packages. This process involves interactions with various stakeholders (Corporate, Transfer Pricing, TCGM, AFS, Affiliates, HQ, Area staff) to deliver comprehensive numbers and analysis. Support all routine Area and HQ reporting requirements on established due dates.
  • Supports key projects and initiatives, management reporting and optimization and support process improvements. Supports ad hoc analysis as required by Manager or Area FD.
  • Collaborates and provides routine business support to enable informed decision-making across the Area and Affiliates.
  • Support Area team as needed related to annual Plan and LRP process, with various analysis, book schedules or support as needed during this time.
  • Act as an important support and liaison between Area, Affiliates and various HQ functions to analyze, solve and ensure proper controls around all actuals and financial reporting. This requires knowledge of the various financial systems, and investigating unusual variances or concerns and follow up to solve in a timely way.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.
  • Spanish speaking preferred although not required
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive and related experience.
  • Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to operate independently, drive processes, identify and implement process improvements, establish and adjust priorities to achieve objectives and operate with speed and agility.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with all levels of management and including the ability to listen well and to influence others that do not report directly.
  • Proficient Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and TM1 a plus.
