The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist is a coordinator team leader that will schedule executive level candidates for interviews, create pools of internal key talent for new job opportunities within the organization, will manage projects and will begin learning of basics of becoming a corporate recruiter.


Executive Interview Coordination:
    Executive Candidate Interview Coordination Coordinate executive, high profile and referral interviews inclusive but not limited to travel, meetings and accompaniment throughout on-site visit Serve as an expert consultant for executive hiring experience Maintain poise and demonstrate adaptability in high-pressure situations

Coordinator Leadership:
    Lead the onboarding of new coordinators and act as a peer mentor to coordinator team Conduct weekly coordinator calls, and manage interview scheduling distribution Coordinate quarterly coordinator meetings and all training Ensure consistence of coordinator processes and positive candidate experience Maintain the designated interview rooms

Talent Solutions:
    Review internal Talent within the AbbVie organization, learning current capabilities and gaps in experience, and matching up opportunities for our employees to gain experience for future leadership roles Document and report on internal talent movement from Taleo and other tracking systems as requested

Conference, Career Fairs & Special Projects
    Support conference and career fair recruitment activities. Coordinate AbbVie's participation in career fairs; participate in pre- and post-conference recruitment efforts Act as an AbbVie recruiting representative during career fairs. Track ROI of conference and career fair activities Assist with Talent Acquisition projects, such as coordinating the U.S. open enrollment Interview Best Practice training, Talent Acquisition events, Coordinator meetings, etc

Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree required Managing competing priorities Stakeholder management - seamless communication with varied audiences to provide strategic guidance to the business Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience interacting with executives and admin assistants Excels at coordination and "connecting the dots" to meet business objectives

Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience scheduling executive interviews and travel Prior experience in HR, Talent Acquisition and career fair coordination Experience supporting Job Accommodation activities Report preparation and presentation experience Taleo, Excel, Outlook, American Express Travel & Concur
