Position Summary

The Sr. Director of Marketing Oncology leads Regeneron's oncology new product planning efforts, with accountability for providing strategic leadership and cross-functional direction to successfully drive the global commercial development, and pre-launch, of the oncology portfolio including CD20/CD3, ILAG3 and other assets and combinations with REGN's anti-PD1 cemiplimab across multiple tumor types.

1. Provide commercial leadership and direction for Regeneron's emerging oncology portfolio in development.
2. Provide commercial leadership and input to the cross functional team, as well as represent the commercial perspective on the Strategic Program Teams (SPTs).
3. Demonstrated success and relationships with national opinion leaders in major hem/onc tumors.
4. Lead the development/management of relationships with key professional, payer and patient advocacy organizations.
5. Responsible for developing global launch plans, long-term disease strategy, revenue forecasts and P&Ls in conjunction with our alliance partner.
6. Provide commercial direction and decision making at all stages of development; including proposed markets, positioning, forecasting, pricing strategies, Phase II/III/IV projects, life-cycle management, and scientific / communications.
7. Develop and manage annual budgets, long range plans and determining the best allocation of global resources for the brand/indication.
8. Work with legal, regulatory, medical affairs, corporate communications, clinical development, & translational medicine to ensure global alignment of the proposed strategy.
9. Works with regional (North America, EU, LatAm, AsiaPac & JPN) marketing & sales management, legal, regulatory, medical and market research to ensure appropriate understanding and implementation of the global strategy.
10. Ensure a comprehensive market access strategy that spans all product indications, markets and audiences.
11. Represents oncology new products portfolio to senior management and other internal/external stakeholders.


• Strong science background with deep knowledge of hematology/oncology. Demonstrated success in working with and providing commercial input to all functions within the project team, including Clinical and Regulatory.

• Must demonstrate ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate.

• Effective communication, both written and oral, at all times. Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations.

• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leadership both internally and externally.

• Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.

• Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize.

• Must be able to conceptualize and articulate a vision for self and brand that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders.

• Proven team player with ability to navigate cross functionally.

• Ability to interact with, influence and provide direction to multiple functions as part of the global disease team

• Proven ability to lead direct reports.

• Lead full cross-functional commercialization team, (marketing, market research, market access, forecasting, commercial operations, strategic intelligence, medical affairs, HEOR, finance, product communications, and regulatory).

• Strong analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative.

• Proven success within strategic alliances.

• Bachelor's Degree Required with strong preference for scientific background, MBA preferred.

• Previous experience with successful partnerships with both R&D and Commercial.

• Senior Director level candidate - Minimum of 15+ years of biopharmaceutical experience with 12+ in marketing role required

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with marketing of oncology drugs is required.

• US and Global biopharmaceutical marketing experience required.

• Previous product/indication launch experience required.

• Experience with US marketing and pre-approval planning of oncology drugs is required, preferably biologics.

• Previous experience in marketing / new products leadership role is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated track record of commercial success in positions with progressive responsibilities.

• Prior experience managing Alliances
