The Molecular Biology Group of the Therapeutic Proteins Department provides reagents and antibody development support for immunization campaigns and pipeline development for Regeneron. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive knowledge base and experience in molecular biological techniques to manage the group effectively to deliver results in a timely manner. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented and enthusiastic about drug development, thrives in a team environment, and can manage multiple projects and processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide expert leadership for the group to provide reagents and information in a timely and accurate manner.

• Design, execute and trouble-shoot various cloning and sequencing projects

• Manage Next-Generation Sequencing platform for sequencing antibodies

• Implement QC procedures and new methods to help with workflow

• Develop data analysis pipelines in collaboration with bioinformatics/IT group

• Maintain meticulous records and keep up databases

• Collaborate across many disciplines in the company

• Communicate results effectively

This position requires a Ph.D degree in Molecular Biology or related field and at least 1 - 3 years of managerial experience (Scientist) or M.S. with 7+ years of managerial experience. (Manager) Additional requirements include:

• Expert knowledge of and hands-on experience in molecular biology including cloning, sample preparation, RT-PCR, sequencing, and synthetic biology tools required

• Expert knowledge of NGS library preparation and sequence analysis required

• Knowledge of antibody sequence analysis preferred.

• Transfection and Western blotting and other techniques for protein expression analysis required

• Strong organization and time-management skills required
