The Global Development Training Quality Lead is responsible for the development, management and execution of a Global Training Quality program.


Drive Training Quality and Compliance Through Design and Delivery

• Foster a culture of continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to further enhance standards and processes through innovative approaches to training.

• Raise the level of training excellence through continuous improvement in technology and method.

• Lead the translation of standards and requirements into effective training tools.

Drive Training Quality and Compliance Through Collaboration with Internal and External Partners

• Support the Process and Procedures and GCP Quality team by providing supplemental training for SOPs.

• Work closely with Training Business Partners to ensure that SOP training is customer focused, timely, relevant, customized and supports the achievement of business specific challenges and objectives for each function within Global Development.

• Collaborate with Process and Procedures and Quality teams to address issues arising from risk reports/audits/inspections etc., and (when and where appropriate) ensure that they are promptly and positively addressed through training.

• Assist with audits and inspections including representation for training during discussions as appropriate.

• Identify opportunities and more effective ways of working with internal stakeholders (Training Business Partners, Process and Procedures, and Quality teams.)

Drive Training Quality and Compliance Through Training Content Management, Maintenance and Standards

• Curriculum owner - Manage and maintain a repository of all training materials for Global Development.

• Identify and resolve gaps in training as it relates to mapping training to roles.

• Lead the development and execution of learning implementation certification policy, standards, and guidelines.

• Identify, approve, plan, design, implement and evaluate all SOP learning and development activity; including training needs analysis, training plans and effective use of training resources.

• Maintain training systems and processes to continually monitor standards, e.g. identifying risks, bench-marking, audit, and prepare and implement action plans to improve quality of training solutions that support SOPs.

Drive Training Quality and Compliance Through Training Measurement and Reporting

• Analyze and act on information to proactively manage standards, training activity reports and action plans for all learning and development activities across all functions within Global Development.

• Monitor the impact of any business process or regulatory changes on SOP documentation and make recommendations for appropriate learning interventions.


At least 8 years of relevant industry experience

• In depth knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines

• Excellent procedural development skills

• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills

• Experience with process improvement methodology preferred

• Background in consulting preferred
