Position Summary

Summary
DNA Core facility provides Regeneron laboratories with services necessary for conducting scientific research. These services include but are not limited to Nucleic Acid isolation and purification, DNA sequencing, Oligo synthesis, Gene Expression and Genotyping. As a member of the DNA Core team, an individual is expected to perform the assignment in a timely fashion and follow scientific protocols. In addition to daily responsibilities, each Research Associate is expected to contribute to technology development by conducting experiments leading to process improvement. Successful candidate should be able to troubleshoot technical issues and be able to clearly communicate with other team members

Responsibilities
  • Operate and troubleshoot oligo synthesizer
  • Contribute to lab and equipment maintenance and order supplies/reagents to help create a safe, effective and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records consistent with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Laboratory work involves pipetting, computer work and communication with researchers.

Requirements
B.S or M.S. in Biochemistry, Chemistry Science or related field.
Familiarity with Oligo Synthesizer, Nucleic Acids Purification methods and techniques, Sanger sequencing and basic understanding of oligo synthesis.
Candidates must be flexible and be able to multitask while handling shifting priorities. Level will be commensurate with experience
