About the Role:
  • Minimum 3-5 years lab support experience preferred
  • Assist with vendor management when they are onsite
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize as workload requires
  • Perform removal of laboratory waste streams (bio-waste, non-regulated and regulated medical waste) according to best practices, comfortable adhering to PPE policies and procedures
  • Manage lab reagent inventory at various storage temperatures
  • Manage lab consumable stock room and 15-20 points of use throughout the lab (125-200 SKUs)
  • Manage break room and office supplies including ordering and inventory management (100-150 SKUs)
  • Metrology duties include regularly scheduled cleaning of incubators, water baths, centrifuges, and freezers
  • Perform regular glass washing and autoclaving of lab glass, microtubes, water, etc.

  • Must have basic computer knowledge including experience using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift

  • Follow up with scientists, be confident to provide and receive feedback, and solve problems
  • The ability to create individual task lists and execute every day
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking and sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Possessing DOT, RCRA, and IATA training is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across multiple functions.
  • Familiarity with using power tools and other assorted tools
