Key Responsibilities and Major Duties
  • Thinks strategically regarding broad scope analytic solutions, including appropriate infrastructure and technological requirements
  • Leads/drives discussions to define new opportunities for data review tools
  • Identifies and engages stakeholders as appropriate to assess gaps, challenges, and opportunities for analytic support
  • Interprets and translates a data review business need into a tangible report/visualization
  • Interfaces/liaises with end users and Technical Leads
  • Collaborates with Technical Leads to define feasible solutions or to understand technical limitations
  • Translates requirements/specifications to programmers
  • Thinks holistically about data review approaches that will support Risk Based Monitoring, clinical review and other data related initiatives
  • Drives strategic use and implementation of new reports/visualizations, including any applicable training material
  • Proactively identifies data review gaps in current processes and projects
  • Creates/develops prototypes for new solutions as applicable

List of Minimum Requirements
  • Degree/Certification/Experience
  • BS computer science/programming/data management/scientific or analytic discipline with 6-8 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry and in addition 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory capacity; experience with varied analytic tools, SAS and/or SQL; emphasis in Biostatistics a plus
