Featured Postdoctoral Opportunities

Theodorescu Lab | Telomerase Biology – Our laboratory has made significant contributions in telomerase biology including finding a high frequency of TERT promoter mutations, the impact of these TERT mutations on TERT expression, and the clinical relevance of these mutations in patients. We seek a highly motivated individual to further discover and investigate the role of TERT, its regulators and effectors, in cancer progression and metastasis. The laboratory has ongoing drug discovery projects directed at key molecules involved in telomerase biology. (Requisition #18000950)

Theodorescu Lab | Cancer Research – Our laboratory is focused on drug discovery, clinical translation of patient tumor mutations, and the relationship between tumors and the immune system.  We seek a highly motivated individual to help continue making solid contributions to cancer therapeutics. Our group employs many different in vitro and in vivo approaches and seeks individuals with a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. (Requisition #18000956)

Theodorescu Lab | Cancer Biology, Immunology – Recent efforts in our laboratory have focused on identifying immune system agonists or antagonists that modulate tumor behavior in vivo. We seek a candidate who is driven, creative, and team-oriented and has a passion for discovering and moving fundamental cancer biologic findings towards a clinical setting. The laboratory uses many different in vitro and in vivo approaches and seeks an individual with a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. The successful candidates will have a PhD degree in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or related field. Candidates may be recent PhD recipients or individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Strong preference will be given to individuals with a proven track record of productivity. (Requisition #18000957)
