Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Be primary supplier facing role at the Ipsen Cambridge Manufacturing site with regular communications regarding delivery of current Purchase Orders (PO), placement of new PO, resolution of issues, and managing supplier related change controls, etc.
  • Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers, monitor delivery status and compliance with Ipsen requirements.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics, Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure direct material availability to support manufacturing schedule.
Skills & Requirements

Education/Professional Certifications:
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business or related field


Technical Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years purchasing experience with proven operational purchasing skills in a regulated environment, biotech or pharmaceutical is preferred.
  • SAP Experience
  • Ability to develop accurate and timely reports, presentations and metrics
  • MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to occasionally required to travel in the US or overseas
  • Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
  • Excellent planning and project management skills to consistently meet deadlines
  • Well organized and self-motivated, able to implement larger initiatives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for fighting Cancer
