Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Partner will provide staffing and recruiting solutions in order to find the most qualified candidate at the right time to meet the business needs. This position will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and partners closely with other HR team members supporting the recruitment efforts across North America.

The Talent Acquisition Partner will create sourcing strategies and execute those strategies to identify the most qualified diverse slate of candidates to fill open positions within the organization. This individual will focus on building talent communities and pipelines for critical/key positions by leveraging existing technologies/resources (i.e. Applicant Tracking & Candidate Relationship Management system databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.), and advanced sourcing (i.e. Boolean search methods/ techniques, social networking, research tools, etc.) and other creative techniques. Cultivates and maintains relationships with prospective candidates for future opportunities. This position serves as one of the first points of contact a potential employee has with Ipsen, requiring an individual that can communicate with individuals at all levels.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and execute programs, strategies, and tactics to ensure that Ipsen is positioned as a premier employer to continuously attract and build a pipeline of top talent
  • Support design and placement of recruiting related advertising and marketing to ensure that the Ipsen brand and image is consistently applied in all recruiting activities, with support of HR.
  • Support the administration of internal referral program, ensuring high quality standards and response rates
  • Team effectively with HR colleagues to assist in developing strategies to recruit diversity candidates across Ipsen
  • Develop and refine internal processes in order to create a first in class candidate experience from the first point of candidate contact through onboarding
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent to submit to current and future client base.
  • Manage vendor contracts/relationships with all relevant job posting sites - establish preferred supplier strategy to ensure optimal vendor performance and appropriate pricing
  • Development and execute a broad range of planned innovative and effective sourcing strategies to generate a strong and diverse candidate flow including:
    • Deploy a range of selection techniques to assess the suitability of candidates and standardize corporate interviewing processes and strategies
    • Develop key relationships with hiring managers, senior management, HRBPs, and other stakeholders to effectively consult, collaborate and deliver on the Ipsen's hiring strategy

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline Certifications

  • 7+ years of experience working as a full cycle recruiter
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience within the biopharma/life science industry
  • Experience supporting a R&D business unit is preferred
  • Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems
  • Interpersonal/Influencing/Negotiating skills
