Position Summary

Summary:

To oversee Regeneron colleagues and vendor staff responsible for developing accurate and timely investigator site budgets, conducting site negotiations and contracting, and ensuring site contracts are completed efficiently, cost effectively and with quality.

Duties:

• Provide leadership and guidance to site budgeting and contracting group

• Act as the single point of accountability for ensuring site negotiations and contracts vendors are meeting performance and efficiency standards

• Act as the process owner for the Regeneron site budgets and contracts processes and how they connect with the overall budgeting process. Review and update as needed

• Oversee the relationship with Medidata, the provider of our fair market value tool, GrantsManager

• Ensure staff is engaged closely with the study teams to develop per subject cost estimates based on study design and schedule of events and utilize the per subject cost output along with the protocol design and operational approach to run scenarios to determine the overall study grant cost

• Handle site contracts related escalations from the vendors or the investigator sites

• Develop and enhance relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Think strategically about Regeneron's ideal approaches to conducting site budgets and contracts

• Develop an approach to enhance Regeneron's master CTAs with key institutions

• Identify and maintain key metrics for site budgets and contracts vendors and internal colleagues

• Ensure vendors and staff are enhancing site relationships and conducting issue resolution of moderate to high complexity

• Prioritize assignments across the organization and ensure vendors are prioritizing appropriately

• Identify new best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Train & coach others on site contracting processes and industry practices

Requirements:

• Ability to mitigate and drive solutions regarding CRO and investigator site contracting challenges

• Ability to identify and implement best practices and contribute to continuous improvement for site contracting

• Strong management and coaching experience

• Ability to influence vendors and internal stakeholders

• Comfortable leading cross functional teams of peers (internal/external customers)

Bachelor's degree required, master's degree or JD preferred with minimum of 10 years of experience
