Position Summary

In this fast paced and critical role, you will evaluate and develop Rheumatology training for District Managers, Sales Reps and Field Reimbursement teams. Use best in class means of training delivery including eLearning, self-study, computer-based training, assessment, audio/video, classroom and experiential learning to ensure the Rheumatology team is trained to deliver approved messaging via a clinical customer interaction model. Apply project management techniques to ensure projects are completed on-time and within established budgets. Influence and motivate cross-functional team members to dedicate their time and effort in assisting with the development of the training material. Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for field based teams and staff members.

--Designing and development of product training for pre-launch, post launch, POA and advanced training
--Lead coordination of content in Launch, POA and training meetings
-- Partner with leadership and department of Learning and Development (OD & T) to determine performance models and identify gaps in order to provide recommendations on appropriate representative, market access and management training to enhance performance and business results
--Lead and develop activities for field based certified trainers
--Work cross functionally with field force effectiveness, marketing, sales, product development and market access to determine effective training on content and messaging strategies
--Responsible and accountable for developing and tracking learning metrics
--Ensure the field force is educated and effectively trained to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPPA, PhRMA Code, OIG Compliance, PDMA, etc. This requires coordination of key internal functions for training materials and workshop development as well as certification of sales and other commercial personnel
-- Manage third-party vendors to create stimulating training material. Obtain relevant content utilizing various training methods including online, classroom, and virtual classroom
-- Remain abreast of the industry, life sciences, and training related topics. Maintain familiarity with competitive products.
-- Provide day to day technical and/or functional guidance to content, suggest delivery methods, and training intent through Train the Trainer sessions
--Responsible for hiring, coaching, reviewing and developing of potential direct reports.
--Perform other related duties as directed by Executive Director, Commercial Training and Development

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical/ biotech industry with 5+ years of demonstrated success in Sales, Sales Leadership, Commercial or Sales Training & Development.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills are required, experience working in an alliance environment preferred.

• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities based on changing business needs is essential.

• Industry leading knowledge of adult learning behaviors, innovative training approaches

• Previous supervisory or line management experience.
