We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join the Formulation Development Group. This position will provide hands-on support for formulation and analytical method development. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the stability of drug candidates, developing liquid and lyophilized formulations, and participating in the analytical method development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in protein characterization and HPLC/UPLC methods. Experience with statistical analysis, rheology, and particle analysis is a plus. The successful candidate should also have excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to design and troubleshoot experiments independently.

  • Design and execute studies to develop liquid and lyophilized protein formulations
  • Develop and implement analytical methods to support formulation development
  • Support regulatory filings
  • Participate in general lab and instrument maintenance
  • Present data at group meetings
  • Write and review technical reports
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory record.
  • Collaborate with other team members in Formulation Development Group and other functional groups at Regeneron in supporting the program development

Experience and Education:
  • BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field with ≥2 years of research experience, or MS degree in the above mentioned fields with hands-on research experience

  • Prior protein formulation experience in early and/or late stage product development
  • Analytical Expertise in HPLC/UPLC-based and CE-based methods
  • Experience in particle analysis such as HIAC and MFI
  • Prior research experiences in the areas of protein chemistry, biophysics, and mass spectrometry are highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently with strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work individually and in a team setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to multi-task and support accelerated timelines
