We are looking for a fulltime Research Associate to join Pre-Clinical Reagents & Assay Support group within Therapeutic Proteins department. This group primarily supports and collaborates with Pre-clinical Development & Protein Chemistry, Analytical Sciences & Assay Development groups as well as our Therapeutic Focus Area groups, across the company. The Research Associate will be responsible for designing, optimizing and validating immunoassays for drug potency testing and will regularly test potency of manufacturing and QC lots of clinical candidates. The candidate will also support antibody screening by technically contributing to monoclonal antibody identification, characterization and helping in decision making during clone selection at every step of the screening process.

1. Design, optimize and validate immunoassays
2. Test potency of manufacturing and QC lots
3. Perform ELISA/MSD for antibody screening and characterization.
4. Contribute to keeping laboratory and instruments in working order
5. Data analysis of drug potency samples using GraphPad Prism and Excel
6. Keep accurate electronic lab notebook records
7. Compile data into PowerPoint presentations.
8. Inform the team of project status and experimental results by both verbal and written communications.
This position a minimum of a Bachelors' Degree or Masters' Degree with more than 5-10 years of experience (5 years experience in immunoassay development and High Throughput antibody screening). Additional requirements include:

-Computer knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint necessary; experience with GraphPad Prism a plus
-Flexibility and time management
-Excellent organizational skills
-Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
-Good communication skills necessary
