Position Summary

As an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator in oncology, you will be interacting with other oncology medical professionals, participating in ONS events and supporting an oncology pharmaceutical field based team. Together achieving our goal of improving the lives patients and their families.
Ipsen is looking for experienced oncology nurses, who appreciate novel and innovative approaches in patient care management and peer to peer education. We offer an excellent opportunity to utilize your clinical oncology skills along with your field expertise to join this oncology nurse educator team.

Our oncology nurse educators will provide product and disease state education and training to client targeted staff, physicians, and nurses. You will work in partnership with Ipsen's oncology sales directors and sales team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of various incentive compensation plans including but not limited to goal, commission, MBO and relative rank plans. Develops and leverages incentive compensation plans and engagements activities to drive performance and morale
  • End to end execution of Incentive Compensation Activities - Plan design, Goal Setting, IC Administration (Home Office and Field Report Processing), Ranking Reports, IC Scorecard, IC Payouts and Sales Reporting functions
  • Provides consulting to stakeholders on IC best practices, customized solutions pertinent to business situations, being a thought leader in all IC related meetings
  • Leads IC Plan administration activities, implements IC Plans, QC all IC reports and ensures timely distribution of reports to stakeholders
  • Supports the commercialization strategy through in-depth analytics and provides recommendations
  • Analyzes local market trends, issues, and customer needs and presents findings regularly to key stakeholders
  • Synthesizes regional market insights, provides analytic support, and develops actionable recommendations in a cross -functional environment
  • Performs in-depth assessments of key/strategic accounts to develop a deep understanding of the accounts' decision-making and support network
  • Tracks key regional performance indicators and identifies causal relationship between actions and outcomes
  • Assists in CRM and data management functional areas, demonstrates solid knowledge of Veeva CRM and customer data expertise
  • Demonstrates excellent vendor management skills and able to work with associates in different time zones.


Qualifications
Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college required
  • Registered Nurse with a valid RN license in good standing required


Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years nursing experience required
  • Oncology nursing experience required
  • Previous pharmaceutical oncology nurse educator experience strongly preferred
  • OCN or higher a plus

  • Up to 75% overnight travel is required
  • Enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Capable of influencing decision makers by engaging in clinical and technical discussions
  • Desire and skills to work in an outside field based territory. Previous outside territory management experience strong plus
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teaching and presentation skills
  • Driver's license in good standing and clean driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass the required background investigation that includes, but is not limited to, education, criminal, employment, motor vehicle, driver's license, nurse license verification and drug screen
