Position Summary:

The Associate Director, HR Operations will be responsible for providing and managing HR operations, designing processes and policies, and partnering with management, employees and vendors to drive operational excellence and delivery across all HR Shared Services. In addition, this role will be responsible for the data integrity that flows through the HR department. They will supervise a small staff of HR Operational Specialists and will oversee the activities of the company's HRIS technical consultants and vendors.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Lead the development and deployment of all HR operational processes, HRIS systems, shared services and associated analytics.
  • They will innovate through automation, process improvement and systems enhancements.
  • The individual will work closely with the HRBPs, Comp & Benefits, and Talent Acquisition teams to identify HR tasks that can be enhanced and transitioned into HR Operations & HRIS in order to further leverage the overallcapabilities of the HR organization.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's corporate/HR culture, operations, and goals in order to develop HR processes and systems that compliment and support the organization;
  • Build strong professional relationships and lines of communication across the corporation and the global HR organization in order to facilitate collaboration and partnership around HR operations and HRIS systems;
  • Establish an HR shared services model and implement ongoing management and practices for work covered under this model. Build, implement and deliver on a technical and operational strategy as it relates to eachfunctional area of HR, i.e. benefits, compensation, recruitment, talent management, etc.;
  • Insure that HR Operations and HRIS follow established HR process and company policies. In particular, insure that the data integrity of employee records is in compliance with both company and governmental record keeping standards and regulations;
  • Develop and enhance the company's HR's reporting capabilities. Provide reports as needed and partner with the HR team to determine service delivery and performance metrics;
  • Establish and execute the automation process for HR functions to include self-service portals for both employees and managers; lead training initiatives for HR systems to ensure all users receive appropriate training on automated HR tools;
  • Lead the HR systems vendor review and selection processes, by assessing business needs, system and service requirements, and vendor capabilities. Manage vendor/third party relationships to ensure performance to agreed upon service levels;
  • Ensure HR policy governance and manage annual policy reviews;
  • Maintain a "continuous improvement model for optimizing human resource operations;
  • Lead or manage any other projects and or initiatives as requested by senior management.
  • Responsible for implementing processes and systems that allow for "paperless processing"
  • Responsible for the HR storage of documentation and the overall achieving process
  • Writes and implements policies, procedures, and processes to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the HR function
  • Responsible for the data integrity of the field rosters
  • Manages the HR Operations/HRIS team, provides continuous feedback and development of the team


Education:
  • BS/BA is required

Exprience:
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience implementing and managing HRIS systems and HR shared services; specific experience with Workday systems is required;
  • Strong broad base of HR knowledge across all HR disciplines, with prior demonstrated successful experience automating HR functionalities;
  • Experience working in a global setting would be a plus;
  • Well-developed management skills, evidencing the ability to hire, develop and motivate subordinates;
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to organize, execute, and plan projects: ability to develop detailed work plans with appropriate resource requirements and prioritization of tasks;
  • Strong technical management and support skills, evidencing the ability to work with end users to identify and resolve business issues in an innovative manner; and the ability to envision, model and perform systemconfiguration of complex data and work flows.
  • Experience building reports, defining requirements and understanding how information is organized.
  • A strong current knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations in order to develop systems/processes that are compliant with record keeping regulations and standards
