Provide support with creation, design, development and distribution of targeted and effective communication materials, plans, processes and programs in support of domestic and global initiatives in Business Technology Solutions (BTS) or on behalf of BTS to other audiences at AbbVie, through key vehicles using various technology systems and software.

Interact with individuals, teams and management to meet established goals and objectives. Familiarity with innovative, creative or structured communication processes; able to take concepts, ideas and strategies and create written material and/or presentations; and develop communication programs in support of assigned product/communication categories. Experience in advertising/promotions, media, public relations, creative/business writing, marketing or related fields highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Beginner to intermediate SharePoint 2013+ and/or web design or content management capabilities.
  • Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Office experience with strengths in PowerPoint.
  • Distribution list creation and management and intermediate Excel spreadsheet / data management / metrics management capabilities desired.
  • Measures, monitors and analyzes readership of division employee communications vehicles, and monitors visibility of BTS employee communications programs across the organization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in communications-related field .
  • One year experience in a professional or corporate communications position.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking and organizational skills and an ability to respond efficiently and effectively in a continuously changing environment.
  • Learning orientation and strong interest in developing solid business acumen over time.
  • Intermediate-a dvanced level experience with writing, word-processing, multimedia and Adobe Photoshop graphic packages.
  • Omniture / Adobe Analytics reporting / metrics experience.
