Principal Analyst, Safety Analytics and Reporting, GPVE

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Experience using Argus Analytics and OBIEE is required.
  • Working knowledge in SAS, Excel, SQL, Business Objects, or other report building tools.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacovigilance such as adverse events or product complaints
  • Working knowledge of MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) and WHO Drug dictionaries
  • Working knowledge of FAERS and Vigibase databases
  • Applied knowledge in all phases of either software development or software management.
  • Mastery of multiple programming languages, or administration of multiple operating systems, or requirements analysis, or functional composition/analysis.
  • Applied knowledge of software testing and quality assurance and of one software architecture (client/server, mainframe, midrange, WEB) or hardware platform. Basic knowledge of multiple Information Management specialties such as Data Warehouse.
  • Explains technical information to clients and management with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Works effectively in a team environment. Organizes and presents ideas in a clear manner
  • Modifies plans, targets or projects as necessary.


Education Required:
  • A Bachelors is required with 2-3+ years of programming experience.
  • With 2-3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
