The Marketing Manager II- Oncology designs and develops, and implements commercial plans and programs needed to maintain market leadership in an increasingly competitive landscape. The Marketing Manager - Oncology will work closely with multiple commercial operation departments to ensure success in product support and sales execution. Internally, the MM I / II will foster positive working relationships with the sales force, medical affairs, market research, sales training, regulatory and other cross franchise marketing teams. Externally, will work with various agencies and consultants, physicians, and co-marketing partners to successfully drive the business. The Marketing Manager - Oncology does not have direct reports but demonstrates the ability to lead without authority and work collaboratively with the integrated commercial team.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop tactical plan and lead tactical development aligned to the strategic brand plan
  • Plan, implement and evaluate promotional programs and activities to achieve product sales objectives
  • Direct marketing activities to targeted audiences ensuring that communications are aligned to segment-specific drivers
  • Monitor and analyze all sources of company and industry sales and marketing data
  • Manage internal/external networks, consultants, and agency partners
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of marketing plans and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate
  • Participate and lead cross-functional teams
  • Perform budget tracking and milestone management
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders where appropriate
  • Proactively support the sales force through ongoing communications of product plans, as well as through development and implementation of effective selling materials and training
  • Conduct routine field travel with the sales force and participate in local market and patient immersions to better understand local market drivers and dynamics and to "get in the shoes" of our consumers and HCP
  • Conduct advisory board meetings as appropriate
  • Communicate up, down and laterally in an effective manner

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of biopharmaceutical or other equivalent (relevant) experience required (i.e., device, diagnostics, or CPG)
  • 2-3 years of marketing (brand or product management) experience
  • Strong analytics with excellent overall business acumen
  • Excellent leadership and communication skill
  • Demonstrated consistency in delivering

  • Oncology product experience, preferably in Hematologic Malignancies
  • Product launch experience
  • Sales experience
  • Market research or analytical experience
  • MBA
