This role will provide support for the clinical study protocol development and writing, and will assist with the scientific conduct of clinical studies across multiple clinical trials. 

The Associate Clinical Scientist/Clinical Scientist/Sr Clinical Scientist is accountable for:

  • Support understanding of clinical data by conducting clinical data reviews, analysis and interpretation
  • Reviewing ongoing PK, PD, safety and efficacy data as trials progress
  • Supporting SIVs, and site training activities in close collaboration with Clinical Operations and CROs
  • Working in collaboration with the clinical team to address questions and queries from sites and CROs
  • Supporting the development of documents such as: IB, IND, ICF, Annual Reports, CSR, patient narratives and maintaining these documents in accordance with GCP, and the highest levels of quality and accuracy
  • Keeping abreast of key developments and updates from the national, international and academic symposia and conferences as relevant for the company’s clinical trials
  • Keeping abreast of literature-based data that are relevant for the design, execution, and analysis of the company’s clinical trials

Who You Are

Successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical research in biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings is required.

  • Ability to review and interpret clinical trial data
  • Experience performing literature reviews and presenting conclusions to various audiences
  • Strong understanding of clinical study conduct including relevant regulations such as GCP
  • Significant interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively cross culturally and cross functionally
  • Communicate effectively with team members, and the broader organization
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently, proactively and efficiently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Flexible and willingness to solve problems that fall outside of immediate area of expertise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Education:

  • M.D., Ph.D., R.N, PharmD, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
