Summary:

The Director leads our technology and data strategy and implementation teams, and acts as business relationship manager for Corporate Communications. Corporate Communications functions include: Investor Relations, Corporate Communications (internal & external), Corporate Citizenship & Patient Advocacy functions. This role is a mix of expertise and consultation, strategic planning, delivery and detailed oversight of projects and programs supporting this function. The leader partners across Corporate Communications groups to assist in translating needs and challenges into strategic IT roadmaps and executable projects. This role serves as a member of the Commercial IT leadership team, extended Corporate Communications leadership team and collaborates across Commercial & Digital IT and corporate IT to deliver holistic and successful initiatives that drive business value. This role is hands on and may lead major programs.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for understanding process, capability and technology needs across Corporate Communications teams. Leads teams implementing foundational and advanced capabilities across these functions (web, social, internal systems, reporting)

• Understand and manage enablement of marketing programs specific to unbranded or corporate initiatives

• Strong background in impementation of communications and digital platforms and integration

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate to multiple stakeholder groups

• Experience in vendor management, working with both technology firms and agencies

• Develops IT business cases, project charters and roadmaps for assigned areas

• Assists with prioritization and strategy development across the Commercial & Digital IT team

• Align systems and service implementations with business goals and objectives and is accountable for realization of project implementation goals.

• Proactive identification and idea generation to offer the assigned business capabilities; expected to be a thought leader with the ability to translate thoughts into reality
o Translate capabilities and needs into effective and improved processes and technical solutions
o Development and management of the financial forecast associated with projects
o Accountable for the delivery of business cases (project oversight and management) and prioritization across the portfolio
o Understand and identify opportunities and dependencies across CC projects and other projects in this vertical (e.g with brand marketing teams, etc)
o Work closely with Digital platforms technical team to ensure solid and holistic architecture and data integration
o Work closely with Infrastructure team for internal engagement platforms (e.g. intranets, Microsoft Sharepoint, etc)
o Understands internal processes, plans, objectives, drivers, and issues, together with external policies and regulations to insure compliance and effective solution / service delivery

• Accountable for the evaluation of technology solutions and ensure appropriate configuration of technologies to meet Regeneron and alliance business needs

• Accountable to ensure projects in assigned space meet business needs and achieve desired results

• Introduce new innovative technologies to the business and stay abreast on changes and trends in technology and digital communications.

Requirements:

• Program budget management and financial reporting experience

• Experience with stakeholder analysis.

• Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure.

• Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision

• Familarity with: Intranet technology, Office 365, Sharepoint, Content management systems, digital asset management, analytic platforms (tableau, qlik, google analytics)

Minimum Years of Experience:
BS/BA Degree with 7+ years relevant experience. Must have been a BA or BRM, or a key project lead, for HR, Commercial or Corporate Communications functions in a prior role.
