Position Summary

Position is responsible for managing vendor supported technologies, business process management, day to day processes for the HR Service Center platform technology, and other platforms used within the Employee Service an HR Operations team.
This position strives to harmonize and standardize HR business processes and technology solutions across the employee service and HR ops team and acting as a liaison between the function and IT departments.

The incumbent will report to the Director of Employee Services and serve as a subject matter expert in streamlining business processes, HR Shared Service platforms, document management platforms, with some experience in change management . He/she will be responsible for:

• HR Business Process Management and Design for ESOPs

• Day to day Shared Service Platform oversight

• Service Performance Analytics to inform Continuous Improvements

• Stakeholder Change Management


HR Business Process Management

• With Director ES, supports the implementation of the operational design and operationalization of the service model platform as well as for other technology solutions that are being managed within the Employee Service and Ops team

• Develops efficient, value added ways to support both HR and the business with the rest of the HR ES and Ops Team.

• With IT prepares business requirements for technology solutions (vendor supported or in-house) as needed

• Designs processes to support business requirements for technology solutions (vendor supported or in-house) as needed

• Works with HR COE's to identify and implement process improvements as needed

• Performs testing on new processes and enabling technology

• Translates policies into work flow design

• Manages and enforces business processes across team

• Writes and implements standard operating procedures; reviews and provides input to master services agreements, software licensing agreements etc.

• Leverages market knowledge and guidance to incorporate best practice and organizational guiding principles on process management.
Service Model Platform Implementation and Administration:

• With Director of ES, supports the day to day technology administration to deliver HR services including case management and workflow, knowledge management articles and instructions, and HR system transaction processing

• Works closely with Service Delivery and Operations leader to ensure the development of strategies are delivering superior client service in both quality and efficiency.

• Collaborates with all relevant HR process owners to ensure that HR administrative processes are user-friendly and efficient, interactions are documented, and hand-offs are executed effectively.

• Ensures standardizationof global HR processes within the service model

• Balances operational efficiency goals with a customer-service focus.

• Demonstrates deep knowledge of HR information systems, which enable and support all HR transaction processing.

• Standardizes and manages content documentation and categorization within the shared service platform

• Oversees management of vendors related to HR Service Model Platform and other technology solutions managed within the ES and HR Ops team.
Service Performance Analytics:

• Establish baseline current state metrics and future state targets that will deliver future state value and success

• Implement and monitor service level agreements, quality targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Captures defined metrics and analyzes service delivery metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

• Delivers reports to HR Teams that highlight successes and opportunities with recommendations/approaches to improve HR service.
Stakeholder and change management:

• Partners with IT Business Relationship Manager and IT teams to define and manage continuous improvements (process and tools) while leading, maintaining, and promoting process improvement activities, including identification and understanding of key areas of change impact.

• Partners with HRLT and HR functional heads to lead the initiative for process optimization, orchestration, digitization and modernization to optimize the service delivery model platform

• Provide business process design expertise to US and international teams, to operationalize HR administration and delivery, ensuring consistency, while accommodating local regulatory requirements where necessary.

• Participates in business process modeling sessions, acts as documentarian, co-facilitator, or facilitator

• Conducts VOC interviews and performs analysis to create business cases for change/projects

• Participates in root cause analysis to recommend enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity

• Responsible for reporting all service metrics to HRLT.

• With L&OD and Communications function, Support organizational change readiness to adopt process initiatives and reinforce the need for change so efforts are sustained long-term.Creates and maintains employee life cycle training programs to ensure high level of technical knowledge, business knowledge and required customer focused competencies across HR teams .


• Expertise in processes, systems and solutions in customer facing and other related areas
• Ability to interface with business leadership, vendors and key resources.
• Ability to communicate business requirements to technical developers as well as provide technical guidance and solutions to internal client/business owners
• Expertise in process and process mapping and knowledge management
• Ability to think globally and/or international experience preferred
• Proven ability to work successfully in a highly matrixed model - corporate, functional and geographic - where strong influencing skills are integral to success
• Strong knowledge and experience in Business Process Management
• Demonstrated end-to-end business process thinking; knowledge of present or "as is" processes and ability to lead improvements that will constitute a desired "future state"
• Experience working with a highly technical, science driven workforce
• Strong influencing skills
• Problem solving/critical thinker with business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• Competency required with MS Office software suite including Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint.

Minimum Years of Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 7 or more years of progressive experience with business operations and/or HR systems
• 5 or more years of experience managing one or more HR operational functions
• 3 or more years of experience managing a services management platform, including catalog management, case management, and knowledge management
