Summary
  • A highly motivated Associate is being sought to join our Research Operations group.
  • The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, outstanding organizational skills and should have a background in Biology, knowledge of computer packages, some programing skills, Confluence, Jira, IDEAS Database, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office, Outlook, FileMaker Pro.
  • Successful candidate will be involved in facilitating communication, develop and implement processes to move projects efficiently throughout the pipeline. In addition, operating as a liaison across multiple groups (ie: internal collaborators, external customers, legal and contract department(s))
  • Coordinate scientific analysis of clinical and pre-clinical samples, as well as manage a tracking system for internal and external collaborator samples entering the DNA Core as well as the Molecular Profiling group.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly evolving research environment is highly desirable.

    Responsibilities
Working knowledge of biology

Excellent Project Management Skills
  • The ability to comprehend and compile scientific data across multiple groups, assemble slide decks, summarize and distribute accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Conduct tasks relevant to smooth meeting execution including calendar invites, room reservation, and minute-taking & follow up on action items
  • Facilitate coordination between DNA Core, TFA's and Sample Management .
  • Manage scientific analysis of clinical and pre-clinical samples, as well as develop a tracking system for external collaborator samples entering the Molecular Profiling group.

    Strong communication skills
  • Applies to internal collaborators as well as external customers/collaborators.

    Familiarized with DNA Core workflow.
  • Track Samples in DNA Core as well as Molecular Profile projects in REGN pipeline(s)

    Outstanding organizational skills
  • Organize and input data into the a database or searchable server (ie IDEAS Database, Filemaker, sharepoint)
  • Skilled in database management.
  • Ability to conduct administrative tasks, book meeting rooms, confirm meetings, reserve travel, process travel expenses.

    Act as the liaison between scientists, internal/external groups and legal group
  • Experienced with material transfer agreements and research collaboration agreements
  • Gather and compile scientific data for submission to the Legal group to support patent filings and contract for DNA Core, Molecular Profiling, Velocimmune and VelociHum.

Requirements
Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, both verbal and written are required. The candidate should have a very good understanding of genome engineering and Molecular Biology methods ideally related to the immune loci. They would need to have understanding of basic science.

The position requires a B.S/M.S. Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years prior experience.
