Position Summary

Summary: Responsible for the coordination and oversight of the mobile equipment and company vehicle fleet and overall maintenance program for mobile equipment. Also acts as site liason for administration of vehicle and driver company registration for all company vehicles. Mobile equipment includes but is not limited to company vehicles including vans and box trucks, golf carts, scissor lifts, fork lift trucks, man lifts, and motorized pallet jacks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensures assignment and completion of scheduled Mobile Equipment Preventative Maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.

• Responsible for reviewing, monitoring, responding and reacting as necessary to Mobile Equipmet maintenance needs for all IOPS Rensselaer locations.

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate outside contractors/vendors to perform scheduled and/or non-scheduled Preventative Maintenance or general work.

• Interface with other departments, contractors and disciplines for scheduling facilities related repairs.

• Ensure all Mobile Equipment work records are documented correctly.

• Communicates and sets expectations of IOPS and facilities department initiatives related to Mobile Equipment.

• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through adherence to safety guidelines and policies.

• Work with Regeneron Safety personnel to implement and maintain mobile equipment safety practices, including Policies, Procedures and OJT.

• Participate in Mobile Equipment related investigations and provide insight from team.

• Follows current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) including proper communication of compliance related events to facilities compliance team.

• May be assigned tasks across all Facility areas as required including General Facilities, HVAC, Plant Utilities and Clean Utilities.

• Provides guidance to facilities Mobile Equipment consultants.

• Coordination and oversight of contracted maintenance including defining scope, obtaining bids or proposals, and initiating purchase requisitions to complete tasks.

• Maintain and order adequate equipment, spare parts and supplies for Mobile Equipment

Education and Experience:

• Requires Associates degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

• Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirement.
