Position Summary

Summary: Responsible for accounting and financial activities for collaborations in connection with the Company's biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Rensselaer, New York.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Contributes to reporting actual results for operations including revenue, statistical entries, variances and other relevant metrics.

• Assists with all audit requests from internal and external auditors as it relates to collaborations.

• Tracks and calculates deferred inventory and COGS activity for collaboration products.

• Liaison with the Company's corporate accounting department (monthly/quarterly close).

• Reviews budget/forecast v. actual results and interacts with Finance department on variance analysis and forecasting.

• Recording and reconciliation of inter-company activity.

• Assists in accounting for various financial reports for our collaborators.

• Prepares cost to manufacturing drugs as it relates to collaboration products.

• Assists in developing and enhancing internal controls and written policies & procedures as well as ensuring all proper internal controls are in place in conformity with Sarbanes-Oxley.

• Reconciles collaborator inventories quarterly.

• Participates in a variety of special projects and compiles a variety of special reports as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Excel

• Working knowledge of Oracle OPS is a plus

• Strong ability to adapt to a changing environment

• Ability to maintain integrity and honesty at all times

• Ability to communicate with transparency

• Demonstrate respectful behavior at all times

Education and Experience:

• Requires BS/BA in Accounting (or similar) with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant inter-company accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a manufacturing environment.

• MBA or CPA preferred.

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
