Position Summary:

This is a key role, supporting the Licensing and related documentation activity at Nektar Therapeutics, reporting to the Sr. Manager - Accounting. Primarily, the position is responsible for ensuring that all licenses and other permits/approvals are in place which are essential for our company's day-to-day operations. Will also be responsible for all licenses required to import products and to provide necessary justification to be given if any query raised by customs.
We are seeking for an organized, ambitious Administration officer who will be a good team player and be responsible for all the activities related to application and renewal of licenses, filing periodic returns and keeping all documentation ready as per statutory requirements for the Company's operations at Hyderabad.


• Gathering, evaluating, organizing, managing and collating information in a variety of formats.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations set as per the Drugs & Cosmetics Act and the NDPS Act.
• Maintaining familiarity with the various projects undertaken at Hyderabad site and ensure the compliance of the related regulatory requirements.
• Prepare submissions of license applications and renewals to strict deadlines.
• Monitor and set timelines for license applications and renewal approvals.
• Advise scientists and technical personnel on the related regulatory requirements as may be required by the local laws.
• Planning, undertaking and overseeing license applications, renewals and regulatory inspections.
• Preparing all documentation with respect to obtaining regulatory permission.
• To maintain all licenses essential to import products and provide necessary justifications as may be raised by the customs for clearance of shipments.
• To coordinate with Customs requirement to release the shipment which require NOC from the CDSCO office as well.
• To follow the financial aspects w.r.t. the shipments/customs duties and EOU etc. Essentially, to ensure that all statutory requirements are adhered.


• A Graduation / Post Graduation (MBA Added Advantage) along with a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience as Administration Officer or related position required.
