Position Summary:

As our Staff Compensation & Operations Analyst, you will provide analytical and technical support to the administration of compensation programs, review compensation plan changes and complete and analyze compensation surveys and reports.

Responsibilities:

Support design and implementation of compensation-related initiatives, linking programs to overall compensation philosophy and corporate culture. Administer and support compensation initiatives, annual focal planning, bonus and incentive plans. Conduct in-depth analyses and modeling for compensation programs, including annual budgets, competitive assessments of pay trends and impacts, and equity utilization. Partner with compensation colleagues, using tools and benchmarking surveys to make sure our compensation approach is market-leading, scalable, and internally aligned. Guide Leaders, Recruiting and HR Business Partners on compensation philosophy, practices, and programs; bringing expertise and analysis to drive more informed decisions. Will be responsible for participation in annual compensation and benefits surveys, preparing market data analyses and making recommendations related to pay practices to maintain the organization's competitive market position. Maintain/update global salary ranges, job codes, grades, bonus targets, and equity guidelines. Partner with HRIS to ensure accuracy of compensation data in Oracle. Assist in preparation and execution of headcount forecasting, compensation structure, pay reviews, equity programs, salary surveys, and communications. Provide advice for new hire offer creation globally

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline is required. Professional certification such as SPHR, PHR or advanced degree is a plus. Equivalent experience may be accepted. A minimum of 10 years of directly related experience is required. Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry is preferred. Previous experience designing global compensation plans and experience designing and implementing compensation surveys highly preferred. Previous exposure to executive compensation programs a plus. Intermediate or expert level expertise of MS Excel required. Excellent judgment and analytical skills. Strong time management and follow-up skills. Effective oral/written communications skills, interacts well with all levels in HR and overall business units. Ability to work in a versatile, fast paced and deadline oriented environment. Very detail oriented and customer service focused. Familiarity with global compensation strategies, understanding regional pay differences.
