Position Summary:

Assists in the maintenance of human resource programs associated with the day to day maintenance of benefits administration, onboarding, policy implementation, compensation administration and database files and tables. May assist with developing reports and analysis to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff within the current and future HRIS systems. Works with payroll and/or finance to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions. This position contributes to and supports the company's research and development efforts to create high value therapeutics to address unmet medical needs.


Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Works directly with the IT organization to enhance and improve the HRIS system. Assists in the evaluation and design of HRIS systems. Maintains HRIS systems in support of HR and business processes and implements technical enhancements and upgrades. Manages and develops reports from the HRIS system as needed. Acts as liaison between IT and HR organizations to ensure that the needs of HR are coordinated with the processes and programs of IT to produce the best product to meet the organization's needs. Maintains, troubleshoots and ensures data integrity of HR systems. Provides organization-wide reporting and data feeds as necessary. Ensures that all employee records, whether automated or physical are maintained in accordance with policies, process, FDA and legal requirements. Provides training to others as it pertains to the HRIS function on such items such as, report writing, organization chart development and maintenance, and basic application support.


Requires a minimum of a High School diploma. A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted. A minimum of 1-2 years working in the Human Resources discipline is required with an emphasis on Compensation and related HRIS platforms. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of HR processes and practices. Familiarity with JDE or other HRIS Platforms and Business Objects are highly desired. Project management skills are required. Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Strong attention to detail regarding documentation is a must. Good communication skills both oral and written are a must. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with an ability to establish priorities and react quickly and professionally are required. Must have an ability to multi-task. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
