The Medical Affairs Specialist will play a key role in supporting medical affairs projects for both approved and pipeline products. This position will support the operational aspects of Investigator-Sponsored trials (ISTs) and Translational Research Agreements (TRAs).
Responsibilities:
- Administer medical affairs specific IST and TRA database and track process from proposal submission to project completion
- Ensure data quality and integrity
- Generate regular metrics and reports
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams including clinical, research, legal, finance, and commercial
- Assist with the management of ISTs including site coordination, document management, and drug shipping/reconciliation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or research
- 3-5 years of biotechnology or life sciences experience, with a majority of the experience in a clinical or medical affairs function. Therapeutic knowledge of oncology and biologics is a plus
- Experience producing and analyzing metrics/reports. Experience with business intelligence tools a plus
- High level of experience with databases and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
