Lead, manage, educate and drive continuous improvement with business processes that reside under the ownership of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) group and support both AbbVie's growth and tactical execution of ensuring efficient delivery of the right product to the right patient.

Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders and functions across Operations (Integrated planning and logistics, brand management, finance, manufacturing) and Commercial Operations (Area leadership, affiliates), this position will need to influence and drive process buy-in, adherence and sustainability, with a view to supporting departmental goals and AbbVie's wider Corporate objectives / roadmap.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support business process adherence, sustainability, communication and training programs across all brands and applicable stakeholder organizations within both operations and commercial operations.
  • Act as the head of marketing and communication for the business processes developing and executing the overall business process strategy (purpose, communication, technology).
  • Own and drive continuous improvement of the business processes ensuring they adapt as the product portfolio changes over the LRP.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the execution of the business processes as required.
  • Perform adhoc analyses related to trouble spots or continuous improvement opportunities identified within the different business processes.
  • Manages, facilitates and leads change management activities, including alignment, coordination, implementation, and communication for internal and external resources.
  • Partner with and support the S&OP Area BEx Demand managers with key initiatives applicable to their regions.
  • Drive benchmarking / sharing best practice to influence change in Demand management, S&OP and other supply chain related activities and behaviors.
  • Support and in some cases project manage key departmental and organizational projects designed to achieve company objectives.
  • NOTE: Business Processes within Scope are Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), FEDDS/Scenario Planning, Tender Governance, Clinical S&OP, Supply Chain Core Metrics, Product Discontinuation, Brand Risk Assessment and Assurance of Supply Playbooks
Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, finance, or science
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Commercial, and/or Manufacturing Operations
  • Strong understanding in supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries, and demonstrated success as a collaborative team player
  • Ability to step up and takes leadership to own challenges
  • Strong Microsoft PPT, Excel, and Sharepoint skills. Ability to learn ERP platform.
