Manage forecasting, planning, purchasing and inventory to meet customer and company requirements for clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
- Manage forecasting, planning, purchasing and inventory requirements for clinical trials
- Collaborate with Clinical Trial Ops team on global forecasting and capacity plans with suppliers
- Run MRP and analyze raw material and FG inventory requirements
- Create purchase orders to replenish inventory based on business rules
- Manage 3rd party logistics partner on fulfillment and distribution and cold chain solutions
- Develop freight matrix to provide cost effective solutions for inbound/outbound freight
- Create dashboard for KPIs/metrics to manage the performance of suppliers and Operations teams
- Maintain Oracle Item Master and item attributes
- Partner with Customer Service and support customer requirements
- Comply with QMS and SOX requirements
- Chair cross functional project meetings with Clinical Ops, Finance, CMC, Customer Service, and Quality on routine matters involving new product introductions and general supply chain projects
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership with a minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience of planning and inventory management
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Advanced Planning Solutions (e.g. ASCP, Shelf Life Expiration)
- Solid logistics experience in import/export, HTS codes, cold chain and dangerous goods shipping
- Strong understanding of Finance, Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Administration processes
- Superb problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders on all levels of the business
- Experience conducting project presentations to executive level management
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple competing tasks and demands
- Good organizational skills, self-directed, and attentive to detail
- Strong user of Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred
