The Senior Manager, Employer Brand is responsible for driving AbbVie' s Employment Value Proposition (EVP) and building employment brand strategies globally through social channels, internal collaboration and innovative approaches . This role is responsible for defining next-level practices and strategies that create and maintain a highly impactful experience to attract and engage talent globally.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Create a differentiated candidate experience by incorporating AbbVie's EVP through all phases of the attraction, sourcing and hiring process. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure the EVP is sustained throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Identify and recommend progressive tools and strategies for building AbbVie's employment brand in the external market, including social media and digital channels.
  • Partner with global team members to deliver employer brand strategies and campaigns that maintain the integrity of AbbVie's EVP and build AbbVie's employment brand and reputation in local and global talent markets.
  • Partner effectively with key organizational stakeholders in Public Affairs, HR Communications and Corporate Branding to align internal and external communication strategies; engage recruiters and sourcing team to align on resources to support the candidate experience.
  • Manage AbbVie's Talent Community communication strategy to build a diverse pipeline of talent for critical recruitment initiatives.
  • Responsible for content creation, communication and engagement strategies in social media while closely partnering with the corporate digital strategy team.
  • Create awareness and excitement around the AbbVie employment experience through support and active participation in industry specific conferences and events.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. BS or BA in Human Resources, Design and/or Communications preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Communications, or other relevant business experience
  • Experience building and utilizing social media strategies
  • Strong client and end user focus. Passionate about understanding AbbVie's business drivers
  • Project management and stakeholder management experience
