Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Designer G4A Ventures, are to:

  • Manage the overall financial modelling and optimization, building up consistent business models while dealing with uncertainty;
  • Design new business models that guaranty an optimal path to monetization for the venture concepts;
  • Support the go-to-market strategy and the scale-up plan;
  • Support the venture architect on the venture build and the assessment of the funding models;
  • Align with the product team, using the insights from the ethnographic research and the prototype testing, to reduce uncertainty in the financial models;
  • Contribute to the development of new Digital Health ventures around the solution ideas as any other member of the venture team;

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field along with at least twelve years of business experience; or
  • Master's degree in business or a related field along with at least ten years of business experience;
  • At least three years of working experience as business designer, new business development, financial planning, hedge funds or similar;
  • Demonstrated experience in building financial models and innovative business proposals in the field of health/digital health;
  • Solid understanding of design thinking and human centric design methods;
  • Proven track record of participating or managing innovative projects;
  • Solid understanding of the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Health value chain;
  • Experience with agile development models and testing ideally;
  • Experienced in working in and leading multicultural, cross-functional teams;
  • Strong communication skills, proven track record in senior management presentations;
  • Passionate, flexible, perseverance, strategic intrapreneur, proactive creative thinker, determined, able to manage ad hoc situations, high mobility, and an overall dynamic individual with a passion for Life Science, Digital health and technological advancements to improve human life.
