Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Business Systems Analyst, are to:

  • Act as primary liaison between Bayer IT, business key users and end users, providing A-Level support on issues, and determining root cause and defining requirements for resolution;
  • Work closely with key business users to understand business processes, end-to-end system processes and data flows, cross functional system impacts, and identifying key business stakeholders and then leveraging technology to find efficiencies that result in a cost savings or more effective method of utilizing our technology or processes;
  • Manage all P2R SAP system issues including bug-fix, service requests, and enhancements for all Divisions supported by Customer Logistics;
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing;
  • Manage inbound issues requests, ensuring that all issues are addressed through prioritization;
  • Support the development and performance of systems for all divisions supported by Customer Logistics and assists with enhancement projects for Customer Logistics that will help Bayer gain competitive advantage in the industry;
  • Provide functional support for Customer Logistics through assessing of computer and system needs which require action to coordinate and resolve system issues in liaison with business end users, with emphasis on solving problems through root cause analysis and being proactive in providing quality service and information to customers and internal organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience; or
  • High School diploma with a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience;
  • Demonstrated initiative in meeting and anticipating current and future customer needs while providing consistent quality service
  • Must have a very high level of comfort with change and the flexibility to adapt easily to new systems;
  • Incumbent must be diplomatic, persuasive, and have experience establishing a good rapport with key stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated capabilities in the following competencies: Customer Focus, Drives Results, Manages Ambiguity, Plans & Aligns and Collaborates;
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree preference in IT, business, or related analytical field.
