Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Analytical Process Designer Specialist, are to:

  • Planning & forecasting: Lead liaison to global process owner; align global strategy with local implementation and governance;
  • Partner with US Finance community to identify process challenges and lead local enhancements with the goal of optimizing planning processes;
  • Reporting & Analytics: Collaborate with US organization to identify business challenges and devise analytical solutions in partnership with the global process owner that solve for them;
  • Lead global roll-outs and create best in class implementation strategies that minimize change management efforts and maximize adoption;
  • Continuous Improvement: Align system development and implementation of technical tools with the Head of Controlling and Content Management to optimize the effectiveness and productivity of the controlling group by utilizing a broad range of knowledge and skills across divisions, functions, and systems;
  • Formulate deployment and governance strategies that maximize the success of global roll-outs;
  • Seek standardized & harmonized solutions as new challenges are identified and new solutions are roll-out;
  • Provide expertise of local business needs to global initiatives in order to influence beneficial solutions;
  • Manage the utilization, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of the financial systems and databases used (SAP, BW, etc.);
  • Manage and lead cross-functional and/or cross-divisional programs with colleagues to identify and implement financial systems and tools that improve efficiency, capture synergies across all business/functions and establish best practices.

    • Provide both tactical and strategic financial direction conversant with security, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer-based financial systems and reporting tools;

  • Sound understanding of global controlling standards and methodologies;
  • Demonstrated Analytical skills, structured approach, proactive and self-motivated;

  • English fluent written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Business Administration(M.B.A). and/or a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) or Certified Management Accountant(CMA);
  • Sound understanding of global controlling standards and methodologies;
  • Possess financial management skills in order to effectively analyze, integrate and convert financial data into meaningful reports, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior management;
  • High affinity to usage of system and process landscapes (SAP, BW, etc.);
  • Incumbent should have work experience concerning budgeting, manpower, financial accounting, and financial controls;
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology is beneficial (e.g. LEAN);
  • Five years of management of people or projects experience a plus.
