Support the effort to develop a suite of integrated products and services for US Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) pertaining to but not limited to tools such as Value Proposition resources, Epidemiology models, and outcomes analyzers to differentiate BMS in the US Payer/Organized Customer landscape.

Partner with Field HEOR to reinvent engagement and execute on building customer-centric solutions to meet the needs of US Access Customers utilizing innovative platforms across the BMS Portfolio of products

Strategize with Home Office HEOR to guide the development of studies relating to health economics, epidemiology, policy, quality of care, and market access to support Medical and Value Access & Payment strategies across the BMS Portfolio of products

Lead communication of US access related insights into BMS R&D Early Pipeline Asset programs

Support State and Federal Government Policy Team to develop strategies, manage projects, and enhance value for BMS Portfolio of products with legislators and advocacy groups

Collaborate effectively with internal matrix Value Access & Payment stakeholders as well as US Medical colleagues in managing projects and solutions

Demonstrate ability to impact and influence, internal customers, to support HEOR initiatives so that funding can be secured.

Participate in the integration of HEOR into US market activities; assist in the development of effective communication tools and programs for optimal market access.

Increase the internal awareness and understanding of Outcomes Research by representing HEOR on cross functional US marketing and sales teams.


Graduate degree required PhD, PharmD, MS, MPH. Candidate should have 4 - 6 years of relevant experience including previous experience working in outcomes research, health economics or epidemiologic issues in the pharmaceutical industry.

Ability to understand and interpret and make recommendations concerning the evolving US market.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with strong problem solving and communications skills.

Previous experience overseeing projects with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Relevant scientific experience in clinical setting or within pharmaceutical industry.

Previous experience in participating in research and publication efforts.

Advanced degree in health science with strong scientific publication track record.

Understanding of healthcare economics, epidemiology, quality of life and clinical research.

Strong understanding of US Marketing, Managed Care and formulary issues.

Understanding of healthcare economics, epidemiology, quality of life and health sciences research.

Understanding of statistical methods and tests.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical development and product promotion.
