Position Summary

SUMMARY/POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Supports service delivery enterprise-wide (except Rensselaer site). Incumbent is accountable for data accuracy and data integrity. Must be proficient and well-versed in all aspects of administration for human capital management systems. Reports into the functional leader for Service Delivery. Provides support in the following areas:
• Data Integrity – accuracy and completion across HR Employee Lifecycle (Pre-onboard, On-board, Maintenance, Off-board)
• Self Service Transaction Verifications
• Central mailbox – fulfillment
• Metrics
• Voice of Customer Delivery/Continuous Improvement

JOB DUTIES:
Data Integrity
• Enters data and oversees high volume of electronic records related to pre-onboarding, onboarding, status changes, and off boarding
• Audits and reviews the work of other colleagues and is able to provide recommendation for corrective action (includes all separated employee files)
Technology, Tools, Systems/Applications
• Supports the EDM (Electronic Data Management) project - in development stages
• Prepares paper files for new hires
• Participates and may be assigned to HCM (ORACLE) missing data/data recovery projects for continuous improvement
• Enters data, makes changes, and accesses other applications such as Guardian system for I-9 and E-Verify, Applicant Tracking System, Background Check application
• Uses various tools (V-Look Ups etc.)
Self Service Transaction Verifications –
• Manages various validation processes related to name changes and education
Metrics, Reporting and Research
• Able to generate reports as needed from applicable HR systems
• Tracks Metrics on transactions
• Conduct best practices research – to maintain and provide expertise
Voice of Customer Delivery/Continuous Improvement
• Resolves problems and strives towards continuous improvement / process related activities on a wide variety of HR processes, issues, or projects. May provide input in the preparation and updating of procedural documents and training guides
• Responds effectively to employee and manager inquiries related to pre-onboarding, onboarding, status changes, and off-boarding through shared mailboxes, phone, email, walk-ups
• Responds to requests related to HR policies, procedures and processes, routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacations
• Redirects employees to appropriate contacts and subject matter experts
• Meets SLA requirements and responds effectively to requests in a timely and accurate manner; knows when to escalate problems effectively as needed
• Provides support to broad-based HR operational programs where assigned
• Liaises with Talent Acquisition team to ensure candidate paperwork is completed and closed out
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Standing Alone
• Expertise and experience in other human resources functions is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize work
• Strong Organizational skills
• Deep subject knowledge of HRIS Systems ( i.e. Oracle/People-soft)
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to establish, build, and maintain positive working relationships and collaborative partnerships with members of the HR function and other internal/external partners
• Ability to process large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint preferred.
• Must be able to navigate all systems with high level of proficiency.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree Preferred
• 7+ years' experience in administrative related role including 3-5 years in records and data management
