Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Intelligence Data Analyst I, are to:

  • Create and maintain customer master information for the Farm Animal business unit (end consumer and Distribution), in addition to the monitoring and validation of the global customer master reports that cover both Companion and Farm Animal business units;
  • Responsible for the quarterly validation of 867 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transmitted sales of both the Livestock Core and Home Delivery Companion product lines through our distribution model;
  • Responsible for collecting, formatting, uploading and reconciling monthly inventory and dispensing data for the high value Pet Specialty business;
  • Frequently interact with multiple departments to achieve the desired reporting results for Sales and Marketing promotions, product category success and incentives for Field Sales personnel, Distributors and End Consumers;
  • System enhancement suggestions and associated testing will be required as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A. with one to two years of experience; OR
  • A.S. with three to four years of experience; OR
  • High school diploma with with five to six years of experience;
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Good communication skills with proven ability to effectively coordinate with internal and external customers;
  • Intuitive, inquisitive, self-motivated, detail oriented with ability to multi-task efficiently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Customer Master Experience;
  • One to two years of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and AS400 experience.
