This position is primarily responsible for the Company's internal Financial Management Report and plays a key role in the Company's Product Sales and Sales Discount Revenue Recognition functions. The individual is also responsible for providing financial analysis and accounting for the Company's General & Administrative departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Corporate Financial Management Report
  • Prepare and coordinate completion of the monthly internal financial management report to the CEO/CFO and secondary financial management report to the Executive Team Revenue.
  • Assist in preparing month-end product revenue journal entries and related support
  • Financial tracking and analytics for Product Returns, Managed Care Rebate Agreements, Medicaid Rebates, Medicare Part D Rebates, Federal Supply Schedule Chargebacks, and Co-Pay Assistance Programs
  • Assist in government pricing calculations and compliance
  • Assist in preparing gross-to-net discount analytics
  • Prepare managed care rebate analytics
  • Investigate and resolve issues in accounts receivable and rebates
  • Assist in product return approval process Expense Budget and Reporting
  • Prepare monthly close and actual versus budget and forecast analyses for G&A departments
  • Prepare expense by vendor analysis • Prepare Forecast and budget for general and administrative departments Other
  • Perform all PDL accounting and royalty reports and be company's liaison between diabetes royalty partners and PDL
  • Prepare monthly Cash balance reporting ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Ad-hoc financial analysis


Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience


SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent analytical skills and time management skills, demonstrate attention to detail
  • Competency with Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to flexibly operate in dynamic environment and respond to all standard and ad-hoc requests
  • Problem Solver - able to perform root cause analysis and act accordingly to resolve issues
  • Systems: Adaptive Insights and Microsoft A/X experience a plus
