The Meeting & Events Specialist must have a strong background in developing and managing meetings sourcing and provide strategic leadership to guide, train, and coach stakeholders on meetings sourcing best practices. This is a hands-on position with day-to-day interaction with company meeting planners.


• Responsible for coordinating offsite meetings with preferred hotel partners or other vendors including hotels, conference centers, meeting venues.
• As the CVENT system administrator work within CVENT software to distribute Request for Proposals (RFP) to venues, attendee registration sites and track meetings metrics.
• Work with venue to ensure sleeping rooms, meeting space, catering requirements and AV requirements are included in contracts and contract meets company standards.
• Support the negotiation and management of contracts with meeting vendors including venue, ground transportation, food and beverage, AV and team building activities.
• Prepare contracts for signature in accordance with our meetings and travel policies.
• Create and manage attendee registration sites.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Serve as liaison between business area representatives and vendors.
• Responsible for communicating logistical details of meetings to internal stakeholders and all event vendors.


• CVENT system experience required
• Strong negotiation skills

• 5+ years relevant experience
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
