Aragen is seeking a Scientist/ Associate Scientist or Senior Research Associate with strong biotechnology/biopharma background and industry experience in cell biology and bioassays. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cell-based oncology and immunology bioassays using a wide variety of human and mouse immune cell lines as well as primary cells. Involvement in ex vivo analysis from in vivo projects will also be involved.  Assays will consist of both small molecules and biologic therapeutics.  Candidates must have a strong background in performing cell based bioassays using absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence-based technologies.  Immunoassay experience (ELISA, cell staining, FACS) is a must. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for performing routine cell line transfections, cell selection and cell cloning. The candidate may also be called upon to support projects involving the development of hybridoma cell lines, so hybridoma experience is a strong plus.

The candidate will work in timeline-driven, fast-paced matrixed environment that requires the ability to work on simultaneously on multiple and diverse projects and interact across different functional groups. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and must be very detail oriented. Good documentation and computer skills (PP, Word, Excel, Graphpad, etc.) are required and candidate must be familiar with data organization, analysis and preparation for presentation.
