The Group Leader is responsible for the daily floor activity and oversight of departmental personnel to ensure compliance with Regulatory, EHS, Training, and departmental performance objectives. The Group Leader is a recognized SME providing support to employees, management, and areas affecting the Warehouse and Stockroom. Daily responsibilities include: Planning and coordination of hourly and contract personnel daily work assignments, prioritization of work activity including shipping and receiving, coordinating transportation to ensure DOT compliance, communication with stakeholders, completing project work, monitoring of systems and processes to meet departmental objectives, and participating in the performance appraisal process. Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and assign work and coordinate hourly and contract employees through various tasks that must be completed daily.
- Monitor quality and IT systems as assigned, track KPI's, and provide training to ensure all systems and processes are operational and complete.
- Interface daily with key stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and raises issues to supervisor as required. Ensure employees meet training plans and maintain a safe work environment in the area.
- High School Diploma required and must be able to read and understand Procedures written in English
