Summary:
The Associate Director of Commercial Data Quality will develop an approach to document current Data Quality initiatives and plan to enhance and update as needed. This individual will interact with our vendors and learn their best practices regarding Data Quality process and determine where changes are needed to adhere to company standards. This individual will identify data quality issues in preparation for the Commercial Data Warehouse (CDW) and representing Commercial Data Governance with respect to maintaining quality standards on an ongoing basis.

Regular reviews with the Insights and Analytics Group and Commercial IT to report commercial data quality issues will be expected along with support for the identification and implementation of solutions.
Other responsibilities include assisting the Executive Director Commercial Data Governance with commercial data acquisition, policies and procedures, inventory, contract management, process mapping, ways of working (internally and with the Alliance) and communication plans.

Responsibilities:
Commercial Data Strategy, Acquisition and Integration with the Commercial Data Warehouse.
1) Assist in the development of a data acquisition strategy and direct acquisition of data.
2) Qualify vendors for data acquisition and identify actions needed to meet data quality standards.
3) Partner with Commercial and other enterprise stakeholders regarding commercial data acquisition and access.
4) Assist the Commercial Data Warehouse team in developing Commercial Data Governance policies to support the quality of the commercial data ingestion and storage.

Commercial Data Quality:
1) Support the Commercial Data Governance team in developing a data quality policy and accompanying SOP or Standard establishing the minimum expectations for commercial data quality.
2) Partner with Business Analytics, Commercial IT, Network Analytics and Market Research to develop data quality standards and processes in support of overall Commercial Data Governance objectives.
2) Ensure the processes are successfully embedded in the organization and sustainable.

Commercial Data Inventory:
1) Maintain accurate inventory of Commercial data assets.

Commercial Data Contract Management:
1) Help oversee commercial data contracts and agreements (3rd party data agreements and Service Level Agreements).
2) Monitor contracts regarding expirations.

Commercial Data Ways of Working:
1) Create, implement, manage and execute data governance standards inclusive of who is sent the data and the method in which it is sent.
2) Monitor data policies and enforce data quality standards.
3) Help identify and evaluate new trends and changes in external policies, regulations and legislation relevant to Data Governance.
4) Accountable for working across the Regeneron business to seek opportunities for synergies and implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
• MBA from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in the healthcare industry.
• 3 to 5 years experience in commercial data quality.
• Strong strategic thinking and conceptual problem-solving skills.
•Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees including senior management.
• The ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic environment, to cope with change and ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on working experience with IQVIA data (e.g. Xponent PlanTrak, DDD), Specialty Pharmacy data, Sales data, Commercial Data Warehouse and Customer Master.
• Previous experience working with data in MS Office (Excel/Access) and/or BI tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS, SQL).
• Knowledge of data industry standards for data quality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfort in presenting to groups.
• Strong organizational and planning/project management skills.
• Detail-orientated with problem-solving skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.
