Position Summary

Summary:
Provides administrative support for department and staff as required. Compiles and processes various standard documents and correspondences. Schedules calendar items and meetings, makes travel arrangements, process forms, enters data into required systems, and maintains records. Edits and proofreads documents to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Supports a wide variety of tasks which may be confidential in nature; ability to generate documents, edit, revise, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials
• Exercise judgment and initiative, demonstrates a general understanding of the business and works under general guidance
• Proactively manages calendars, schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments, conferences, interviews, and orders food for departmental activities as requested and other department initiatives
• Resolves routine administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department/division
• Accepts, screens, and directs telephone calls
• Performs other duties related to maintaining department members' schedules
• Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities, sometimes serving as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative matters
• Books travel and processes expense reports for department activities
• Greets and directs visitors
• Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies
• Provides backup support and coverage for other administrative coordinators.

Experience and Required Skills:
• Associates or BA preferred; 5+ years administrative experience with 2 years of (business function) industry experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently, ability to multitask, self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize, works effectively under pressure, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, and Concur
