JOB OVERVIEW
The Staff Research Associate II (SRA II) perform multi-parameter flow cytometry and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) of human tumor cells; multiplexed fluorescence microscopy of fixed tumor tissue; prepare RNA and DNA; perform PCR, weaning, tail biopsy, and blood processing; maintain records of mice; and perform other duties as assigned.  The SRA II is expected to work well as part of a team and have enthusiasm for the practice of science.

Our educational programs include a research-intensive academic residency program and fellowships in cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, gynecologic pathology, neuropathology and surgical pathology.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry and/or biochemistry or related field and one or more years of recent, directly related work experience following degree completion, utilizing the techniques or methods required by the position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• One or more years of experience in either oncology, immunology, or molecular biology

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with advanced microscopy systems (e.g. multiphoton)
• Experience in bioinformatics, programming language, and/or image analysis
