Primary responsibility is as Program Manager for the Digital Workplace Operations and Infrastructure Operations departments. Reporting to the Director, Digital Workplace Operations, this role will support the senior management team by aligning services with the organizations' strategic directions, managing demand, resource capacity plans, and overseeing and/or managing projects; developing and measuring operational, project and overall department performance metrics; and creating dashboards, executive communications and presentations to illustrate department plans, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Responsibilities :

Resource Management - identifies resource needs for projects as well as ongoing support activities, develops resource strategies based on demand, provides resourcing forecasts for improved demand management and skills/capability development.

Value Management - works with leadership to ensure value creation occurs within the scope, schedule and budget allotted for projects; recommends project/operational changes to maximize resource efforts and ensure the department is supporting key business initiatives through stable operations support and business value transformation.

Responsible for assessing and reporting to leadership the health of the Digital Workplace Operations and Infrastructure Operations demand management, resource capacity planning, and prioritization status on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Collaborates with Digital Workplace Operations leaders to project cost tracking and invoicing.

Develops communications to illustrate the department's strategic and long-range plans; key focus areas; measurement and progress against goals; and department ROI.

Collaborates with department leaders to facilitate development of Business Cases for Digital Workplace Operations and Infrastructure Operations projects and initiatives.

Supports presentation of Business Cases to the functional and IT governance forums, ensuring that the appropriate contributors and reviewers are engaged.

Supports strategic sourcing and other departmental initiatives as needed.

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study.

Requires 5+ years of demonstrable experience of managing large, complex IT portfolios.

Requires 10+ years of demonstrable experience of managing IT projects.

Excellent executive communications development skills, including dashboards, presentations, customer journeys, etc.

Strong knowledge, experience and capabilities in program planning and management; resource capacity and demand management; and program methodologies and lifecycles, e.g. SDLC.

Knowledge / qualification in IT standards such as ITIL.

Master's Degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent is preferred.

PMP certified preferred.
